Fun times with the Fam

We've had a fun and busy couple of weeks! I had another birthday party with the family (which was awesome). Grandpa had the chance to get to know Baby Jake, as you can see. And Jake really wants to drink out of a glass, but he's not quite ready yet. The next weekend we went up to Jer and Steph's to visit Grandma! We had a great time together. We're looking forward to the next two weekends with her while we celebrate Maria's birthday and Thanksgiving! (And supposedly I'll be writing a paper sometime....haven't figured that one out yet).

SURPRISE!!!

I was SO SURPRISED!!! A week before my birthday, Paul and others threw a surprise 30th birthday party for me! (I can't believe I'm turning 30!) I was totally shocked, and it was so much fun. Here we are after a leisurely breakfast (actually it was breakfast for lunch) at our favorite breakfast place in town...Pipe's Cafe, right across the street from Stewart Surfboards (where Paul works). Don't we look cool in our shades?

Busy Days

Hi Everyone!

Sorry that the blog has slowed down and gotten a little boring lately. There's just no way I can keep up with Dad....he's leaving us all in the dust. October was a crazy month of retreats, church events, and too much going on. I had a little computer crisis with one of my papers and lost a bunch of my work...you know, typical college stress. I just never thought I would still be in school when I turned 30! More pictures to come...that's all for now!
