Jackson Updates - May 2006

Paul started a new job in February, working for a small company called Corrugated Machinery Exchange. He does sales and customer service, and is learning a lot of new things! I'm still working for the JESUS film and loving my job. We had some mold problems in our apartment, so our little home has been turned upside down for about 3 months now. Little by little we are putting it back together. I barely survived the semester, but God was faithful (as always) to see me through. I have one more class and my thesis, so hopefully I can graduate by May 2007! I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel......Baby #2 is on the way for Jer and Steph, so they are looking for a new job/situation to enable Steph to stay home. Dad and Margaret also have a new season coming up when their jobs end on June 15th. Daniel just finished his service in the navy, and is praying about his next step. Michelle's working fulltime at the playhouse now, and Maria moved to Laguna Hills so she's closer to us! Lots of transition....but we are all doing well. That's about it for now....hopefully I'll become a more consistent blogger someday. It's usually feast or famine....no news or too much news. Post some comments and let us know how you're doing!

What Have We Been Doing This Year?

The first weekend of May we celebrated Jer's birthday, but of course it was all about Baby Jake. He's getting even cuter now with his little teeth and hair! Baby Jake #2 (the sequel) is due on Labor Day weekend! Jakey will be a good big brother.
March and the first part of April are a complete blurr.....I think I was just in survival mode, trying to finish the hardest project I've ever done. After I did my presentation, we drove up to Big Bear for the day just to celebrate, get out of town, and relax! Now that the semester is over, I have somewhat of a life again.
In the middle of February, I went to Thailand and Japan for 10 days for a work conference...it was exhausting but wonderful. I just hope Paul can come with me on my next trip!
Then Mel came to visit in February, and now she's moving to Pasadena! I'm so excited!!!
In January, we went to Kauai for 2 weeks to hang out with Dave and Kirsten. This was one of the most beautiful hikes I've ever been on. We relaxed and had some much needed R&R......our first real vacation since we got married 4 years ago. Also while we were in Kauai, Jer and Steph called and told us Steph is pregnant again!
Mom and Tom came down for New Year's weekend
